I have a visa debit card. I heard some people saying Visa card can be used for shopping with putting the pin code and Mastercard needs a password during any transaction(eg. shopping). Is that true? I’m bothered because if my card is lost then i’ll be in trouble. I’m planning to change it to Mastercard if this is the case. Help please.

They are the same.
I have a Mastercard and all I use is my 4 digit PIN.
If your card is lost/stolen, just call Visa (or Mastercard, they are pretty much the same), and tell them. You won’t be responsible for paying for charges put on your card as long as you report it immediately.
The only real difference is the logo. They both work the exact same way.
